Whitelisting: How to Make Sure you Get our Mail

What is Whitelisting?

An e-mail whitelist is a list of contacts that you decide are acceptable to receive email from and that should not be sent to the trash folder.

How to make sure you get our mail

To stop the ever growing flood of spam (ie. unsolicited email), ISPs (Internet Service Providers – Bigpond, Optus etc.), mail services ( Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo etc.) and Mail Clients (Outlook Express, Thunderbird etc.) are using filters to try and keep spam out of your inbox. However, the algorithms that figure out what mail is spam (and what is not) are extremely complex. Because of this, they accidentally filter out email that you do want to receive.

It’s really a matter of the good suffering from the bad!

You must keep spam out. I understand that. But because of this I cannot guarantee you’ll actually receive my email with the information you have requested. The filter may keep it from you, and I have no way of knowing that you didn't receive it.

What you can do about this!

To make sure that our mail is not deleted or filtered into a "junk" or "bulk" folder, please add info@my-ebook-guides.com to your list of trusted senders/your address book/contact list (in your e-mail software) and to your ISP/mail service's whitelist... This way the filters will know that you want to receive this mail, even though their algorithms consider it to be junk...

Sorry that I have to bother you like this, but it’s really the spammers who are to blame.

Thank you for taking the time.

All the best,

Susanne Wickes
