In speaking with other new computer users I have found that not everyone who buys their first computer wants to do a long and involved course on everything imaginable. Sometimes they just want help to do the thing that is right in front of them such as sign up and use Skype or buy something from Ebay.

What does it mean when text is underlined in blue?

Text underlined in blue. This is called a hyperlink and when you click on these links they will take you to another page or website with more information. You can choose to click on these links or continue reading and come back to them.

How do I get back to the page I started at?

You can return to a previous page by clicking the Back button in the top left corner of your screen or you can right click on the page and click on Back in the menu that appears. You can also click on the links at the bottom of each page which will take you back to the Home page and other pages of interest.
